After our very long wet and cold winter, we have gone straight into summer...and that also meens bushfires. Unfortunately, this was a bit close to home...about 900m away. We had a few very tense days with this, as the wind kept on shifting and at one point, the Police came and told us to either leave now or stay and fight. It never got to that point thankfully, and as I am typing, it is raining again. The firefighters must be very relieved, as they were pretty tired from their battle. A huge thanks to all involved.
I did manage to run up the hill and get these shots though...it's one thing about bushfires...awesome sunsets...hope you like the shots...
