It's wildflower season, and I was planning on going out in the desert and capturing some images of the flowers coming into season. My Mother-in-Law knew I was thinking about this, and suggested a spot she knew a bit closer to home...and these are the results. I was extremely pleased with the results, fantastic colour, good light, and a nice sharp focus.
I hear tourists from other lands talk about how bland the Australian bush is...all the same colour and monotonous in its olive drearyness...well, check out the colours in these shots.
I will still head out to the desert soon...lots of things I want to see, but this has been a great start for me.
