A friend of ours runs a resort at Injidup, right on the coastline, so it was a great opportunity for me to take some more shots... I clambered down the cliff face with just the camera and the 10-22 lens (my workhorse)...and started shooting this incredible coastline. When it got a bit darker, we drove around the corner to Canal Rocks and that was when the real fun started! What a fantastic place!! It was every bit as exciting as shooting Sugarloaf. So, camera and tripod in hand, and Roxy the dog in close pursuit, I set off down the side of the rocky cliff and captured some very exciting images...the channel you see above with the water streaming down the rocks is truly remarkable...like a waterfall in the ocean...but coming from the ocean and not into it...very weird and surreal.
For the larger shot to the right, settings were as follows:
F-Stop: f/18
Exposure time: 2 seconds
ISO Speed: ISO-100
Exposure Bias: -0.7 step
Focal Length: 10mm
Hope you like them,
Cheers,
Erin
COMMENTS:
Hi Erin...what a fantastic location you have shown us...we were all amazed at the waterfall coming from the ocean, and with that storm cloud sitting over the top...well, what can we say...it's incredible.

Thanks guys...some nice comments, but I can only take credit for part of it! I get so excited when I come across locations like this...I feel like I am about 12 years old and it's Christmas morning with a new bike under the tree! I'm really pleased that these images have an effect on you too.
Cheers,
Erin.
