Welcome to my Blog!

I had been wanting to shoot this old shack for ages, but life was getting in the way...and then yesterday, I just pulled over and stopped, jumped the fence and started shooting. The sky was doing some interesting things, and I'm pretty stoked with the result. I love the red in the roof of the shack, and was a bit concerned I would lose some of the impact when converting to greyscale...but B&W images have their own thing working for them...and the red is not doing the same thing as in the colour image, but works more on a textural level...

Hope you like them...

Cheers
Erin.

COMMENTS:

Hi Erin, you're right about the texture in the B&W shots...always reacts differently to a colour image. Really like the sky...

Johnno...

Hey there...I know where that shack is, and have often thought of shooting it myself. Good work!...I prefer the close-up in colour...but that's just me...

Regards,
Rachel.
